Download and install ReplayDIRECTOR
- Download ReplayDIRECTOR
http://www.replaysolutions.com/download/- You will need to complete the registration process, we just need your name and email address
- Once you have completed the registration process, click on the Windows operating system to start the download of ReplayDIRECTOR.

- Double Click on the ReplayDIRECTOR-8291.exe

Launch Eclipse & Download Recording
- You can watch a short video about using ReplayDIRECTOR with Eclipse
- Start Eclipse
- Switch to the JavaEE aspect
- Click on the Recordings tab
- Enter the Recording ID and click the green "Download ..." button
- If using JRE 1.6.0 use Recording ID 352
- If using JRE 1.5.0 use Recording ID 354
- When prompted for a connection to the Replay Cloud, enter the following
- host : community.replaycloud.com
- port : 10230
- username : your email address used to create an account when registering to download ReplayDIRECTOR
- password : your password

Find the root cause
- Playback the recording
- In the Recordings tab, click on the green "Start Replaying" icon
- This will play the recording of the bug. Feel free to replay the recording as many time as you like, setting breakpoints and using the IDE as you would normally. All we have done is virtualized the Database and other parts of the system running outside the JVM so you don't have to install them to debug this problem.
- Determine the cause of the bug. What is causing the exception to be thrown and how would you fix it?

Official Rules:
Contest is open to all individuals age 18 years or older. Participation in the Replay Challenge ("Contest") constitutes Contestant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. Contest sponsored by Relay Solutions, 2100 Seaport Boulevard, Suite 400, Redwood City, CA 94063 ("Sponsor").
1. Timing:
Contest begins on 7th December, 2009, and ends on 31st, December 2009. All entries must be received by Replay Solutions no later than 5 p.m. Pacific time on 31st December 2009.
2. Eligibility:
Contest is open to all individuals age 18 years. The contest is not open to current or former employees of the Sponsor. The contest is not open to any resident of the following countries: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria. U.S. export regulations prohibit the export of goods and services to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Syria. Therefore residents of these countries/regions are not eligible to participate.
3. Categories and Judging:
Each entry must meet the requirements as specified below in Section 4. Any nonconforming entries or incomplete Entry Forms are not eligible and will result in disqualification of entry. After each entry is screened for compliance with the entry requirements, it will be judged by a panel selected by the Sponsor. The judges’ decisions are final and binding. The entries, whether submitted by an individual or a group, shall be judged together, based on correctness, originality, and contestant(s) skills in applying Replay Solutions products.
4. How to Enter:
Application entry forms are exclusively available from the Contest entry web page at http://www.replaysolutions.com/events/challenge/submit. Complete the entry form online in its entirety. Each entry must include the following:
• A completed web application form, including your name and email address
• Your description of the bug
• Your suggested code fix
5. Prizes:
The winning entry will be selected by the judges based on the criteria described above and will receive a cash prize of $500 and inclusion in a press release.
6. Winner Notification:
Entries will be judged by 8th January, 2010. The winner will be notified by e-mail. The winner will have ten (10) days from receipt of notification to acknowledge otherwise a new winner will be selected.
7. General Terms and Conditions:
Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) lost, late, delayed, damaged, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, or misdirected entries; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (iii) failed, incomplete, partial, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor that may cause the Contest to be disrupted or corrupted; (v) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of a prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of a prize, or from participation in the Contest; (vi) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest (not applicable in Spain); (vii) or any regional, state, autonomous, or local laws or regulations violated during the creation of the entries by the Contestant(s). Sponsor reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or modify the Contest if fraud or technical failure corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the Contest, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Each Contestant agrees to release and hold Sponsor harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injury, death, property damage, and claims based upon intellectual property infringement, publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the preceding release of liability will not apply with respect to personal injury, death, or damage to property caused by Sponsor negligence against Contestants residing in India and will not apply with respect to personal injury or death caused by Sponsor negligence against Contestants residing or Hong Kong or Portugal. The preceding release of liability applies only to ordinary or minor negligence caused by Sponsor against Contestants residing in Spain. Each Contestant agrees that Sponsor's only obligation is to submit entries from eligible Contestants to the judges according to the procedures and criteria set forth in these Official Rules and to award the prizes set forth herein to winners, subject to the terms and conditions herein. Contestant agrees that Sponsor's obligation is fair and adequate consideration for any entry submitted, and that Contestant is not entitled to and shall not seek any further compensation.
Each Contestant further agrees to execute any and all documents necessary to effectuate such license. Each Contestant agrees that by submitting an entry, he or she allows the use of his or her personal data, name, likeness, and/or voice in publicity or advertising relating to the Contest without compensation. Except for issues affecting Contestants residing in Portugal or Spain, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Contestant and Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of California or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of California. Where permitted by law, Contestant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or any prizes awarded, other than the administration of the Contest or the determination of winners, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the Northern District of California (San Jose Division) or the appropriate California State Court located in Santa Clara County, California.
